World War Two Group (north West based)

Hello everybody, I would like the opportunity to tell you all about our little group.
Some of you may have heard of us but most I would say would have not. We have been going since 1995 and started as a small group of friends meeting at perch rock near Liverpool displaying a wide range of military uniforms every weekend, since then the group has changed quite a lot.
Some of you may have heard rumours that our group had disbanded during the winter months after a large split within the group and that it was no longer going, this is not true, this year we are more focused than ever constantly looking into building up the group, making it bigger and better and continuing looking into improving and change for the better what we do and how we do it.
Previously we had severe criticisms regarding our axis uniforms and last year we took this on board and bought en mass uniforms for a correct impression. We believe that this has improved what we do and now we all have the same standard and quality.
Our main impressions are the Fallschirm Panzer division Hermann Goring and the British 1st Airborne division, members also have other secondary impressions as well and these include Herr, panzer, Russians, civilians, French police and Resistance fighters.
We are a family group so spouses and children are more than welcome to come along. The children play and get involved together, and during the evenings we socialise around the camp having a drink and a chat.
Our events are North based ranging from the North west, to Yorkshire and Linconshire, we can also travel to other areas if invited or know to be a good event. We choose our events carefully to cater for all our members, so if you like private or public battles, riding on steam trains, or interacting with the public at our living history / static displays then we have events suitable for you.
If you are interested in the axis forces and fancy something different from SS, Herr or falschirmjager, then check out what we do. We often get at events members of the public asking what our uniform is as not many group portray Luftwaffe other than fallschirmjager and are interested when they see white shoulder boards and collar tabs.
We do not discriminate on the grounds of age, WEIGHT, size or sex as long as you are willing to portray your impression as accurately as possible, We will be happy to have you along.
With our allied impression we portray the 1st airborne division so you can badge up to any regiment or corps which was attached to them, this impression is centred around September 1944 Operation Market Garden.
Please check out our web site from the link below in my signature for more information. Please note that our website is new and is currently ongoing with addition of pictures and further information when we receive them, we are not able to access pictures form our old site so pictures will be added as we go along, any CONSTRUCTIVE feedback about the site welcomed.
regards Mark
