The U-Boat Society will be attending War & Peace in just over a week's time.
For some of us this will be our tenth Beltring in a row, and for others it will be their very first outing. You won't be able to miss our display so please feel welcome to come over and say hello, we certainly won't bite.
To all those who are attending Beltring we hope everyone has a great time, see you all there

During the horrible, dark, cold days of Winter, a number of our members assisted the Bexhill Amateur Theatrical Society with their showing of 'Dad's Army' at the De La Warr Theatre, Bexhill, between the 14th - 16th January 2011.

Yes, we've all perfected the eye-brow raising tachnique as well
On a more serious note, we helped the society out by lending various important items of kit.....
....My claret & blue Hammers scarf helped 'Pike' out no end!

Due to a significant amount of our members either leaving the hobby altogether or going on to do other things next year, our remaining members have decided to re-enact DAK permanently as from January 2013. Some of you may recall that DAK was our occasional secondary portrayal.
Anyway, if anyone wishes to join us permanently or even guest with us at various shows, providing they don't clash with your permanent group's events, then please drop me a line for further details.
Best wishes,
Kevin.

Shame about this mate, your display was always good and something very different for the public as well but i guess people either move on or finish for various reasons. Nice to see a few of you are continuing even though with a different scenario, good luck to you.

Pheew, at least it wasn't inside it (like the old phone boxes) lol
We'll still be around and thanks for the kind words, lads, it's appreciated. At least I can dig my shorts out for Beltring and other warm shows.
