Kampfgruppe EDELWEISS, 1 Kompanie, 100 Gebirgsjager Regiment

This is to announce that the new group, named Kampfgruppe EDELWEISS, reenacting 1 Kompanie, 100 Gebirgsjager Regiment (primarily 1 Division, later 5 Division) has been organised. Place of operation - Poland. Current membership - 4 ppl, including ppl of this forum: Yuri (group leader), Bergfuhrer (authentication verification officer) and me. We're supported by a collague reenacting 'scharfschutze' of 140 Jager Division and 1 MG42 replica.

The webpage is currently being prepared and I will post it here as soon as its up and running. Events we're going to in 2008 will be revealed soon.

My humble person is in that winter camo set. Weather made a little trick and snow melted few days ago So It may not look to "well placed"

My only comment would be that your rope looks to be a little too thick. The standard Gebirgsjäger Bergseil was 10mm in diameter and 40 meters long.

Display above was build by Group which is almost 2 months old, so I knew that we havent got everything correct. Have You got some tips how to improve Our impressions, or something except rope that isnt correct ??

P.S. That Your friend Jim still makes those puttees??

Ok. As You said from left to right

With STG in his hand - David, registered on that Forum as bergfuhrer, next is Thomas (here presenting his Jager impession) with scoped kar98k, next one is Arthur, guy with Kreta armelband with gefreiter insignia - yeah, its me , last one is Mariusz which You may knew from that Forum too - his nick is mario33.
In lower part of that photo, just before my is Marek with white camo on his helmet, just next to Michael holding his kar98 <--- that guy got lovely sister by the way Both of them are focused on Luftwaffe Field Division aspect of reenacting.
