WW2 Reichsbahn
My new direction in Reenactment. After selling my Waffen-SS uniforms and equipment,
I have combined my interests of WW2 and Reichsbahn (German Railways).
This is a realistic impression for someone of my age group.
Cheers, Bill.

Thanks Dave, the cap took several weeks to put together and the jacket should be ready
in about two weeks time.

Look forward to it Bill, i suspect you will still be called a Nazi though mate even as an employee of the railways.

Great cap Bill, look forward to seeing the full impression. Now all you need is a BR E19

Excellent stuff sir, great idea!
..Does seem a shame though, that no one much has taken the Volkssturm to it's full potential, absolutely ideal for the older chap! ( panzerfaust anyone! )

Looking great bill, i would guess the insignia was not cheap since it looks origional (not much repro stuff available for the unusual badges)

The collar badges were about £20 (original pre-war)Crazy Feldgendarme wrote:Looking great bill, i would guess the insignia was not cheap since it looks origional (not much repro stuff available for the unusual badges)
The shunters trade badge was £4 (maybe a late 40s post-war?)
The shoulder straps £30 (original wartime).
For the jacket I am going to use a repro M41 and remove the lower pockets (to give it a 1939-40 look) and dye it marine blue.
The railway cap and all the cap insignia came to about £100 in total.
The "working uniform" will be HBT dyed black with gold buttons (the blue uniforms was used mostly in offices and for parades).

Similar prices to Police stuff mate exept that those prices are for repro (when you can find them). Origional Police badges can go for silly prices and fakes are very hard to detect.
