@ menju : you fly to us for the next edition?
We have here enough Swiss equipment and uniform for a full section... but miss a good Leica photographer
Wow, thanks it is a very tempting offer... I am honored. I would not mind to wear Swiss uniform for a change! Maybe we could arrange something for the next winter? We can continue on discussing it via PMs. I really like that idea... Leica, retro skiing, Swiss uniform

Simply wonderful event and pictures!
It is fantastic to see groups such as yours who portray the under-represented armed forces. There are many, many 20th century armies that are relegated to history books alone. This is what is great about reenacting and living history!

Great impressions as always gentlemen - and some lovely alpine meadows as a back drop - can I ask where in Switzerland this took place ?

Thank you Halle, this event took place in the city of Vallorbe where the local army museum celebrated its 25 years old. This Swiss region of "Jura" was strategically important during WWII and a large system of fortress and defense was created to face any possible invasion from North-West.
By the way, our Association got a new HQ, you can have a preview of this "house" on the following video:

Damn, I wish you'd been active when I was living in Zürich up until a couple of years ago. Most of the action I got while there I had to insert myself into with a feeling of not really being wanted there as a non-British reenactor...
