At our last meeting we decided to remove the old Sturm Bonesacks in the Heer Tarnung and replace them with something else in Splintermuster 41 Luftwaffe
Soon we are full members of SASAK!

Latest news: about 50% of those who didn't have them ordered the prewar sidelace boots for our may 1940 impression.
Last weekend we had a little private battle with a US 101st AB society. I've photoshoped one of the best pictures:

Re: 13./FJR2 - Flanders
LW wore brown leather equipment??, you should know that Tom lol,Hans Gowert wrote:yes peiper, why is that.....
admittedly late War anything was worn but in my opinion a mixture
of brown and black being worn here would be more realistic, just my
two cents worth??
As i said before iam putting together some LW-FJ kit and until it is completely
right wth no "make do" items i wouldn't put any pics up because it doesn't do
the portrayal justice in my opinion, that goes for clothing, boots etc as well,
thats just me, im a perfectionist heh heh

Yes they wore brown early on in the game. but having blokes in totally black leather eqiupment is fair game according to time period. Black leather eqiupment were being worn on crete , so its fine.Peiper wrote:LW wore brown leather equipment??, you should know that Tom lol,Hans Gowert wrote:yes peiper, why is that.....
