Forming a So. Ca. Gebirgsjäger Unit

Post by gebirgs soldat »

Hey, my name is Walt and I am the unit leader of 35th ID (US Infantry), California Historical Group (CHG). I am also a member of the 14th Komp, FJR-6 of the RPS...

I am exploring the idea of creating a Gebirgsjäger unit in either the CHG or RPS.. is there anyone out there in the So. Ca area interested in being involved in the formation of a new unit? My goal will be to maintain use of German tactics and German commands only while in the field.

Let me know.. WALTER HANNA

Unit is now formed with 6 members from the California based organizations - RPS & CHG.
The official title is the 98th Gebirgsjager Reenactors.. but we will go by the short name of the "Gebirgs Zug".
our website is: http://www.worldwar2reenactors.com/GEBI ... Rhome.html

Our motto is: "IMMER WEITER MACHEN"

with the reply: "MACHT ES MIT KRAFT"

Thanks to all who will give support and advice.
