sold: Size 11 Jackboots - Period Construction

I bought these from Arras, France. They have some original hobnails and are constructed with wood pegs in similar fashion to original boots, but don't have correct toe plates, heels or heel irons.
They exhibit signs of repair and resoling by hand. Originally had pull tabs sewn in the correct configuration, but someone amputated two of the originals and hand-stitched in their own leather tabs for use with boot pulls or storage trees.
I'm not selling these as original boots, but I'd wager they're "close enough" to use for an impression. I've had folks suggest post-war firemans boots, RAD boots, Kriegsmarine boots, some other auxiliary unit - who knows what they really are. You tell me!
