Bot Alert

Many thanks to Robin and Steve from the WWII reenactment forum for letting me quote this from over there. Let's see if it does any good.

I'm going to try to keep this explaination simple as not everyone is a computer genius and it's precisely those people I want to make sure understand what this update and the links on it are about.

We've had a problem lately with a number of internet 'Bots' (Machines designed to contiuallly attempt to log on and spam php sites, forums, like this one for those that don't know).

We've decided to trial these two links in an effort to either stop or reduce their attacks.

What happens is the 'Bot' 'reads' the links posted below. This then activates them into sending the attacker an endless stream of fake info and false email addresses eventually overloading the attacker.

Simple eh?

Anyway! So that's why I say this....
