Arris Intl - friendly warning about unreliable dealer

Post by mario33 »

This to warn about ARRIS INTERNARNATIONAL, unreliable dealer from Sialkot, Pakistan.

http://arrisint.com/index.html

We put a collective order for some headgear back in August. The owner insisted on quick payment 'to receive the goods before Ramadan'. Not to mention he only accepted WesternUnion (no purchaser security in any form). We waited about 2 months, occassionally exchanging emails, to which he replied in short sentences ('the goods are already on the way' blah blah). It was a very slow caravane anyway because the goods never appeared. Eventually, he stopped replying to our emails altogether. Short enquiry in the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce returned no result - the company is much more virtual than real I suppose. Not very big monies were lost fortunately but still a loss.

Just a friendly warning - STAY AWAY.

You live in America?
It's only important because you miss out from your list all the quality European vendors.
Richard A Underwood, Panther Store, Militeria.net, Morigi....the list is long.

Totally agree here, i do not see the point in buying kit from little known manufacturers in far flung places to save a few euros, when good quality stuff is available in europe so no import taxes if you live here, i do buy bits from smw but they are reliable through ebay.

As we have seen in this case and some others, more often than not you are not buying. You are just sending them your money.
Even if you do get some product from this type of company they are usually shite.
I've tried some of these people and only ever got crap.
One of the things we should be grateful for is that the dealers, we know and love, sink their time and money into ferreting out the good, bad and indifferent makers.

There is a chance that they are both using images from the actual maker?
Or Ant has got some stuff from Arris and is using their images?

That store is all Sturm stuff so it is very unlikely that Arris are making Sturm kit.

This site has already been mentioned on other forums. Sadly always for the same reasons. Anthony is aware they are using pictures from his web site although I am not sure what action he has taken or can take.
