The chinese are not very good at camo yet.
This one is bad;

For a - 'If we ever need to do a Late / late oh my god the russians are at the door and I just craped my pants event' - What's wrong with Field Grey Wool?

Spearheads Leibermuster is cr*p! the camo suck and the cut of the jacket is also totaly wrong. Save your money for a few months and buy a Turingen or a Zeugmeisterei one.

Why would one wear that kind of cammo? it was issued at the last two months of the war and to a very small number of troops. I have the same thing with Sumpftarn FJ smocks. Not my thing.

Field Gray is the way to go. The only camo i have with my Heer impression is a zelt. I was just trying to come up with an event that this stuff might be used at. I just have visions of entire units showing up in this to a D-day event or something with the old excuse that they did have it and so its fine to wear it. Crap.

They also got helmet covers and M43 caps

I would like to see the actual print non-aged and on proper photos. Perhaps it's better then?

Whats Sumpftarn?

Tan and water pattern?

Sorry not too up on the terminology!

Fred Wacker said to me that the smartest soldier is a field grey soldier, his unit ( in Anzio) was very short of camo, they only used the smock they had in his group when in guard duty.

Sumpftarn is a more correct term for the camo often refered to by the under educated as tan and water. It's often not tan and there is no water? Stupid name.
Sumpfmuster is better I think.

Yay I'm undereducated (well I knew that anyway) and so was Brian L Davis, cos thats what he called that camo back in the70's....

I allways thought the streaky bits were the water marks?
Anyway Heer camo is not correct for me anyway as I'm WaffenSS, so its a bit academic.

Back in the '70's?
Back in the '70's people used other names for people of colour but we all know better than that now.
I wondered about the streaky bits. But they are on splinter/splittermuster and thats not called grey and water is it?
It's a stupid name and we should send it back to the '70's like flares and tank tops.

Genius!!

I love the 70's birds!

where's my party7?

As a kid in the 70's my reenacting (or playing army as we called it then)was informed by Sven Hassel and Leo Kessler books!
My play soldiers kit consisted of black welly boots and grey cords! Yup I was always the german...
Mind you I did get a 35 pattern helmet on holiday near Bolognia when I was12, gothic line pick up that was, i still wear it now.

If you realy need to translate it, it is common translated in English as marsh patern.
