I am applying insignia to a Unit Member's Tunic. He is putting together an SS-VT Impression using a M36 style Tunic and wants a "Walking Out" Tunic.
My issue is that the Tunic has French Cuffs (to accommodate his long arms) and he is an SS-Mann. Would using this style tunic be acceptable for use on a "Walking Out" Tunic?
I have searched for a period photo, but without success thus far.
Thanks.

Re: French Cuffs on a EM "Walking Out" Tunic?
All the 'Sunday best' ss nco pics I have seen are exclusively no french cuffs. While I'm sure their may have been a few private purchase examples I'd stick with the accepted norm.
It should only cost about a tenner for a seamstress to remove the cuffs

feuerwerker , I'm confused - how would French cuffs accommodate long arms !!? The arms on a tunic are the length they are - French cuffs start " at the cuff " ....

Thank you for the replies. The Tunic owner is a little of 6 feet tall, skinny and with very long arms. He had the French Cuffs added to this tunic to cover the 3 inch gap there was between the bottom of the cuff and his wrist.

Men and NCO's could privately purchase officer quality tunics if they could afford it,page 159 of German army uniforms and insignia by Brian L Davis shows an army gefreiter in his walking out uniform with turn back cuff's and the same applied to the Waffen SS,here is a photo from uniforms of the WaffenSS by Michael D Beaver. An NCO tunic with tun back cuff's.
