Watches

Post by Eberhard »

Hi

Just need to pick anyone's brains on this matter. Need to know is there any info on if soldiers wore leather protective covers as part of the strap over their watches similar to what is used today. Was told that the Russian army used them and SS and Heer units adopted this cover.

Would appreciate any views on this.

Regards

As this is not an issued piece of equipment, I'm sure soldiers used them by all nations as you'd want to protect it during the battle.
