Question about cuff title

Post by VonSchnitzel »

Did a quick search but was unable to find an answer.

With a SS cuff title I know its about 14cm from the cuff
But which way is it facing?
Is it facing to your front or to the side in line with the SS sleeve eagle ?

thanks in advance

If you lie the sleeve flat with the seam at the bottom (as though you were going to press a crease into the top of it) then position the cuff title so the text is central and parallel with the cuff, 14.5cm from the cuff hem (should be just about the split in the sleeve), then it will be about the right position.

cheers feldjager

I have a m43 tunic from Gavin Militaria and the closest to the cuff is 15.5cm due to the split. Not sure is others who have brought from Gavin have noticed this. Not a big deal to me though.
