That would be great! :D the bloke is changing his print soon, it won't be as vivid as his normal stuff :)
I was thinking of getting his Zelt at some point :)

The helmet cover in my photo is one of his current run, its not that bright with use and muck and dirt, etc. Look at some originals, they can be VERY bright.

His zelts are very good, as is his winter gear. Infact all his stuff is very good.

Any word on his new Plane tree print?

All his Heer stuff is great, especially his Sumph print.

Yeah he does some good stuff fair play. My mate has a plane tree helmet cover from him,
He had to soak it in tea to get it a decent cover but appart from that it's on the ball!
I have a pea dot tunic from him, I'm not to fussed on the colour but I think it just needs to meet a big dirty puddle and it'll look tidy then :)

All I know is that it's coming soon. As far as I'm aware it's only the 5/6 he does but I don't know when it will be out

I've seen no variety from SMW either, or at least not on their ebay store. They have one parka, and it's grey.

I do like the look of their plane tree though.

SM produces probably the most accurate camo patterns on the market; it is printed exactly as the krauts did it, so there for it fades exactly like originals. You see China selling smocks for $60-70 which are trash.. so SM's pricetag for properly printed USA-made items, is not far fetched in the least bit. You get what you pay for, and SM is truly second to none. Their website is being revamped, but they have a hell of a lot more than what their eBay store offers.

I've handled only one chinese item (an SS parka) and while its construction and material seemed to be of a very good quality its pattern and colours (Oak-A autumn) were indeed "trash".

Have you handled anything from china? And if so, how was it specifically?

I have one chinese smock. Its not nice.
Fabric has a plastic feel, like its been treated.
Pattern seems to be a copy of the SMW blurred edge.

Mean while back at the palm. After all the Chinese/Hiki slaggings, I have to say that Hiki produced some autumn palm bits that were pretty spot on, all be it field made/ fantasy type items

I went for a look at the KRIEGSBERICHTER site. Top of the line! There is a fantastic shot of a guy in a palm 4 pocket tunic, maybe a smock field convertion? I want one! Can't recall the photographers name but it was either top of K's or bottom of L's. time well.spent

Tissue please. That's very nice. I have an old repro that is very close, don't know where it's from but it's quite heavy material. I wore it last year at Pip park
