Just wondering if it is correct for GJ to wear M43 Kielhosen instead of Berghosen late in the war..lets say 43 onwards?

Re: Kielhosen /Berghosen
Hello Moller ,
In answer to your question , the later in the war the better . Stocks of Berghosen would have existed throughout the war , and been distributed to the soldiers as replacement items . The '43 pattern universal trousers that replaced them would have filtered through , especially , I imagine , with laterly formed units ( Prinz Eugen etc.) though remember , they still received mountain issue equipment in large numbers . Finally , Gebirgsjager had a great esprit de corps , and clung tenaciously to their distinctive symbols and equipment where possible .
Hope this is of some help ,
Bergheil Kamerad .
