Hi Klinsmann
The sweater was quite loose fitting, iam 6ft 3", 44" chest and 36" waist
and ordered XL and fitted very well, i must say with these jumpers and
for the price you cant go wrong, whether you order grey or charcoal,
and they are a proper company so any problems you can sort it out,
anyway good hunting guys.

Regards Pipes

Pictures look good guys, perhaps I'll buy one. I can probably convince my mom to pay it for me, I won't say it's for re-enactment

Yes go mine today

these are definitely to be worn under a jacket or over a shirt,as part of a layering system really nice quality, if Im really honest I think I would have liked it to be just slightly thicker, but its fine under a jacket or greatcoat or winter parka, and fits really well

Superb for the money and pure wool doesnt itch either really when worn against the skin

Feldman how is it in the snow? is it warm or not really?

Is there no mothers or grannies left in the world?
Time was not so long ago they could all knit, shop bought woollies were a posh thing, real people wore hand knitted jumpers, scarves, gloves, hats and socks.
And yes that did include the German armed forces, along with nearly every other army in the world for many years before 1945.
So simply put, get yer granny to knit your jumpers, it'll probably be more authentic looking than a machine made effort.

Do you know how expensive knitting wool is? My other half is a knitting fanatic. So you have to get someone to knit a jumper and buy the wool for less then a score? Good luck I say.

My mum made me one, turned out to be too warm to be worn anywhere, unless just posing and standing outside. Did some logging wearing it and the undershirt in -30 degree weather and felt toasty :/

So don't trust your mums/grannies too much :D

Charity shops usually have baskets full of the stuff, plus there's blankets and other odd assorted things to pick off the racks and shelves, my wife and her mother could make me multiples of things for less than £20.
(bloody hell, I must be turning into a bit of an old hippy. I'm nearly advocating recycling.... )

BTW - it may be just me but posting pics is a nightmare, I keep being logged out unless I post almost immediately. In fact I sometimes get logged out for no apparent reason....
