Afternoon all ,
For the French campaign 1940 , would the SS Polizei troops have had the runes on their collar tabs?

I'd read somewhere they started off with Heer litzen...it's proved more difficult to research than I thought.

Cheers

Steve

be aware that there were a load of proper politzei units and they wore the police collar patches however in the early years they also wore the tunic with the brown cuffs

Thanks for the input Dave , much appreciated.

I was looking at which unit to dedicate my new SS tunic to , wanted one for the French campaign, so limited choice.

Looks like it's going to be one of those from the Leibstandarte...

Could be worse...
