The 100 quid smocks from sof are smw and smocks are supposed to be big.

SMW do 2 sizes ones about a 44 - the other is a 50 - and if you look at how they are worn between 1939 and 1945 they aint wearing 50s

...but on the whole todays reenactors are (ahem) often a bit larger than soldiers then! :D

Yes true - they will fit a lot of folk fine - but it would be better if they did both sizes - rather than pretending it only comes in one size fits all.
