SMWHOLESALE

Post by xCumbatcherx »

Hi all,

I am new to re-enacting and happen to be flying to America tommorrow for 3 weeks. I am thinking of going to visit the SM Wholesale store in LA. I am looking to pick up a type 2 3/4 planetree smock as i understand SM Wholesale are one of the best manufacturers of Waffen SS camo.

I visited Beltring on saturday and saw that some of the sellers get their camo uniforms for SM so i assume they are highly reccomended?

Regards

SM Wholesale does manufacture great stuff but what I have understood from US re-enactors is that one should buy from SM only in a happening or store, never via mail etc, as he is rumoured to have tendency of forgetting to send stuff - and returning your money in this case.

They should be - but I wouldnt gurantee thats what turns up. also they only do the larger size. which they can call 42-48 all they like - its a 50 - which means its oversized for a lot of folks.

Yeah, I had a look at their stall at W & P and all their smocks seemed rather large.
