Signal whistle

Post by Krupp »

I was wondering, after I bought one, was the signal whistle used by NCOs or by both NCOs and Ems in the Police force?

In the FG they were issued to all ranks - basically a 'copper's flute' to attract the attention of miscreants (because they ALWAYS stop running after having a whistle blown at them) or to summon assisstance. Don't forget all soldiers were honour bound to assist the Polizei and FG in apprehending suspects.
