Does anyone recreate any other police units?

Post by Feldjager »

Just curious, as well as Feldgendarmerie I also do

4. Kompanie, II Battalion, Feldjägerkorps III; and
Geheime Feldpolizeigruppe 743.

I'm also currently researching and asseminbling an OrPo field combat uniform (just need the police breadbag and gaitors really!).

I know this is useless now but there was a 4th SS Polizei unit out of Wisconsin USA. They broke up about a year ago. I knew the commander. He had a ton of real pics of the 4th SS. Since then, I have not seen anyone doing that unit. Most people, where I come from, want to do combat units or the real dreamy units. To each his or her own. Thats one of the reasons why the 4th SS broke up. The unit wasnt a dreamy unit. As in "Dreamy", I mean a popular unit. :?

A couple of our guys reenact W-SS but this is for mainly to help out policing our display and help out with vehicle movement and safety at shows.

The SBG have a thriving LSSAH FG section, comprising of about 20-25 blokes.

They maintain all the SBG's security at events and staff the recruiting stall. They even do official spot checks on members too.

There probably are similarities between the SPG and the Feldgendarmerie...

I didn't know the FG sped around in dark blue 1970's Ford Transit 'battle-bus' carriers?

Would the reenactment of reserve police battalion 101 be out of the question?
And that boys is how you take a penalty.

Does Belgian Federal police count also? In our group there are two guys portraying the Belgian federal police of the 30ies and 40ies.
Some others do German FG and the guy in the picture does also Hauptman FG, in case there is an officer that needs to be inspected, as you may know NCO's wheren't allowed to inspect officers!

No military police for me, only Dutch civilian police sometimes. Haven't got photos from it yet, but this shows how it looks:

Hehehe, can even use my Sturmgewehr :D (Police resistance after the liberation in 1945)
