I am looking into the possibility of reproducing these. Before I do, I'd like to see if there is sufficient interest to justify the time it will take me. I think they would work out at about the £30-35 for the pair.

I'm not taking orders, just gauging interest at the moment. Thoughts?

Tagebuch is a day book, essentially a pocket notebook.

I'd be interested in purchasing a set if you decide to print them.

Hey there!

I'd love to get a copy of these. However, I am also working on reproducing them (particularly the Vorschrift). However, I don't know the dimensions. Would any of you happen to know them?

Sam

Kameraden,

Finally finished a prototype copy of one of my Summer projects. This was a really complicated, and often frustrating project. First I scanned all of the pages from Robert Witter's "Chain Dogs". Then popped them onto photoshop, and after making a makeshift booklet to show me page numbers, I layered them according to which page they would print on. Unfortunately, I never found out what size the originals were, so I balanced it out by referencing a size close to the Tagebuch which a friend gave me a few years ago, and chose the A6 size (4 X 5.8in) from Ray & Josephine Cowdery's Papers Please! Identity Documents, Permits and Authorizations of the Third Reich (Reddick Militaria Publishing 1996). Once I put them on a word doc, centered and size them, I printed, cut, and stapled it together.

Although I'm glad I have this bit of kit now, I do always want to improve what I've done. So, if any of you have information about the actual size or photos of the original covers, I'd be grateful.

Im besten,
Sam

Originals are DIN A6 when closed (so print on DIN A5 paper).

Covers are card and all mine are green. There seems to a be versions issued in:
1937
1940
1943 (typeface changes to roman rather than blackletter)

All have various crossings out, mimeographed inserts glued in and replacement/additional pages.

Any news on these as I'm definitely interested?

At the moment there isn't enough interest to justify the time!! I've got a few other large projects on the go
