One existed, but it's wear hasn't been proven as yet.

They had the GFP ausweis and also the dienstmarke (the latter for plain clothes work). Aside from the Heeresbeamten insignia and GFP cyphers, there were no other insignia worn.

ye I thought they were plain clothes, were they not the military equivalent to the geheimstatspolizie, and correct me if this is wrong (still learning about the field police units now I am portraying one) were they not called the geheimfeldpolizie

GFP - Geheime Feldpolizei. More details here: http://www.abwehr.co.uk/police/Alternat ... s/GFP.html
Feldjägerkorps. Had a specific function, more details here: http://www.abwehr.co.uk/police/Alternat ... s/FJK.html

You then had the Feldgendarmerie (be they Heer, Luftwaffe, SS or the Marine Küstenpolizei) who had the same function as the Military Police of any nationality. There were also other "branches" such as the Heeresstrifendienst, Bahnhofswache etc.

had a cuff title on both my Luftwaffe and Heer uniforms, as Dave said there is speculation as to whether these were ever worn, so to be different, i had them made and fitted. Some of the books i have gotten from Deutschland say they were issued but not necessarily worn. Problem is there isn't much info about the GFP apart from the link Dave gave. Before the ciphers were made and available though Miss Militaria, (she had an original one from me and had copies made) the first ciphers i had were solid gold for the Luftwaffe impression. Got a salute from SS Florian Geyer at gun powder mills last year. Icing on the cake so to speak !!!
