Did someone mention tents? :D

We've bought a few repro wall tents off Jack and they're very good. You could always button 12 Zeltbahn's together and create a giant Wig-wam like I did at Kirby Hall a few years back!

How much more British do you want? Empire, India, cotton, the Raj, gin and tonic, displaced peoples working for their families at home. 1/3 of the map was pink. like our gin. It's as British as sandals worn with woolen socks, as skinny knees showing beneath over baggy shorts, as....did I mention gin?

With a massive thank you to Manny, Dave Lapworth and Dave Page. Dave P has been a massive help in getting these tents made. Dave has been kind enough to lend his support and his collection to enable us to bring these to the market.
We are having a batch made for us and it will be a limited run this time around as we need to ensure that we have them in stock before this years D-Day celebrations.

The first batch will be on a preorder basis only. With the feedback from shows, calls and folks on our mailing list these are going to go very very quick. So if you would like to reserve one in time for the show season then please buy one through the shop or call us.

The Pathfinder Große stabszelt will soon be with us and the picture you see is of the first sample. We have spent many many months on this tent and we are so pleased to be able to bring a tent to the German element of our hobby - you no longer have to make do. We will have a sample here in around 14 days so you are more than welcome to drop in and have a look for yourself - don't forget the biscuits.

Dimensions:

Width – 2.6m (8’ 6”)
Length – 2.6m (8’ 6”)
Wall height – 1.6m (5’ 5”)
Ridge height – 1.98m (6’ 8”)
Poles – 2 x centre post 1.98m (6’ 8”)
Poles – 4 x corner post 1.6m (5’ 5”)
Guys – 6 x manila guy ropes, 12 guy rope tensioners
Pegs – 20 x hand cleft ash pegs
Mallet 15.2cm x 9.5 (6”x 3 1/4”)

*The poles are made from kiln dried turnery quality pine. These poles are perfect and they are gun barrel straight. The highest quality poles.
The tent has two roll up windows on either side and are fasten with wooden toggles. We have used mesh in the windows to aid ventilation and this was because of the feedback that we were given by folks, so thank you for that.

We hope we have taken care of everything you need – and all you have to do now is buy your tent and pitch it. As we have included everything for you so that you do not have to worry about having to find poles, pegs or guy rope – you are ready to go.

Now it is neck on the block time – here is our guarantee. If you aren’t happy with your tent for any reason then we will have your tent picked up and we will refund your payment in full. No questions asked. This will give you complete piece of mind and it is important to us that we get our customer service right. This is fact.

Yes I know that is a bold thing to do but this is what we are going to do throughout our range – if something isn’t right then we want to be knowing about it.

Very good news, we'll probably get one.

Any plan for the bigger one, the Troop tent, the 20" x 17" x 8", with fly, eventually ??

Thank you

Robert

I have an original Gebirgs medical tent which would be slightly more practical as the walls are higher. Ground area is the same though.
