Re: 3 Cheers for Brit re-enactors.
Agree there Stig - you have neatly described the corporate attitude of certain groups. At least you are allowed to state your opinion without attracting threats. My first post which started this long thread, had an American re-enactor threatening to ban me from the arena. Dictatorial? Whilst these a...

Re: NYMR Le-Visham Station operation "Pioniere Voran!"
Neil,
regarding kit and uniform stipulations for Levisham, you've said no StuG or Panzer uniforms or camouflage.
Where wil that leave the other re-enactors like Stefan who does U-Boot, the other German chap who portrays a Kregsmarine on leave, and Simon Todd who portrays Luftwaffe?

Re: 3 Cheers for Brit re-enactors.
Absolutely spot on, Stigroadie, this hobby is (or should be) just a hobby but you can see from the 'how dare you crticise us American re-enactors' responses I got on thw WIIRE Forum, to realise how vindictive and dictatorial some folk can get. One chap even threatened to ban me from the Arena in 201...

Re: Sturmpanzer at Beltring
Just to clarify, the half track with the PaK36 is of course SBG's, and the Panzer III replicas are John and Alan's respectively.
'Sturmpanzer' comprises a to-be-repaired half track, and 2 StuG III Ausfuehrung Gs.
Still a good collective line up nonetheless.

3 Cheers for Brit re-enactors.
Last Thursday at Beltring saw a realistically protrayed battle between re-enactors portraying Axis and British. Both sides took hits if obviously advancing or moving into a wall of enemy 'fire'. And folk being dropped was credible and authentic to the fee-paying public. The Scottish Piper was a grea...

Who is the pencil artist 'Marco'?
Hi,
last season at Beltring a guy was doing pencil drawings from photos - his signature on the bottom right of the pencil drawing is 'Marco'
Does anyone know who he is and how I can contact him?
Cheers

Re: Pippingford Park Tactical 2012 ....21st/22nd APRIL
If the whole of Pip Park is now available, command and control and timing of events, contact, (the MEL or Main Events List) must work like clockwork otherwise it all becomes confused and muddled with folk laying ambushes and no-one turn up, or they do, on time but in the wrong place etc and so on. N...

Barry Lyndon contact details?
Kameraden!
a mate has suggested Barry Lyndon (Lindon?) as a possible supplier of a US navy Nurses white pacific outfit.

And one final one from me - taken early Sunday morning with a few brave souls at the tea hut awaiting the first brew of the day, whilst the first train meanders in, with the chill mist still hanging... http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad284/Emil55/earlySundaymistandfirstcuppa.jpg Roll on next year...
