Re: 3 Cheers for Brit re-enactors.
Hi Stefan, I hear what you're saying mate but unless you've been inside one of these beasts you can't really appreciate how impossible it is to hear anything. Back in the day all these tanks would have working comms but most in the battle probably don't, the German tanks don't have to really travel ...

Re: 3 Cheers for Brit re-enactors.
Sadly you all seem to be missing the point of these battles, they're not some super realistic recreation of an actual event but some bit of fun that's put on for the punters. People moaning about people sticking out of vehicles, would you rather they be all hatched in with no sight of people in thei...

N44's end of year bash!
Right folks, N44 are having our end of year bash at Newark on the 3rd of November, all are welcome. You know what our do's are like we'll start off playing Glen Miller and end up with the Clash and Rammstein. 1940's clobber only, German uniforms more than welcome, should be around £5 or £6 a t...

Re: Cosby Victory Show 2012
Great Show, great pyro's and a good show for the public to come along and see some great displays. The battle improvement things does get on my thruppnies somewhat, I hear it all the time about the Beltring battle which we do in conjunction with our friends from the SBG. People go on about authentic...

Re: Oh the times they are a-changing
Sorry for interjecting on this thread but I thought I'd give you my opinion on how things are with us and what we do. Firstly we are not and will never be the completely finished article, we strive to improve and we work with other groups of quality but everyone has limitations. We get older as we t...

Re: Never Surrender!
I'd just like to reiterate that it was not the KSK, they took on board the incident that happened the year before and were not involved in this incident in any shape of form, apart from photographing it.

Re: Never Surrender!
The guy that got the butt of a Garand in his face the previous year after attacking my guys was in your group, I should know I came over to your display to see if he was okay. He told me that he had planned all these attacks with the guys concerned hence why I was so apologetic, you can imagine how ...

Re: Never Surrender!
I wasnt there your right, but I dont think the blame is as clearly cut as people say it is, I find it hard to believe another re-enactor would go in for "choking" someone for really real, instead one can perceive a certain amount of compliance - but I wasnt there, so of course, Im playing...

Re: Never Surrender!
Two things, defuse the situation?.......................are you serious, have you just watch the same film as I did, how the hell was the victim suppose to defuse the situation, it's split seconds and there was suppose to be no unscripted hand to hands in the battle. The guy initially uses his K98 a...

Re: Never Surrender!
At last one of the eternal numpties that thinks it's cool to be a hero and attack other re-enactors in a surprise attack is caught on film. This is the forth or fifth time this has happened to our guys. Last year three of our lads were grappled in unscripted attacks and one ended up with the culprit...

Re: N44 Group shot - Beltring!
Hmmmmmm would be hard juggling everything...... but driving tanks IS a big love of mine........... Knowing you ya bugger, you'd turn it around and attack us! Now there#s an idea...... but I've sworn an oath of loyalty - I cannae betrae that! I'm sure the Krauts are slowly but surely infiltrat...
