German Military Power

I found this video on YouTube. I found it very well put together and a perfect display of German forces in WWII. Hope you all find it as interesting as I did!

Kampfmesser

Does anyone know of someone who makes a good repro of a boot Kampfmesser? I see a lot of them online.

Re: SS M43 v. Heer M43

I was trying to figure out who I wanted to portray and I came across a few websites that just said M43 tunic. Granted that it was either a Heer website or SS website. I was curious as to if it mattered if it was 5 or 6 button tunic to portray either. Thanks for your info.

SS M43 v. Heer M43

From what I could see the only difference between the SS and Heer M43 late war tunic is that the SS is 5 button and the Heer is 6. Does it matter which one you wear? Did both wear both? Or am I completely wrong about there being a difference? Was it just to save production time? Thanks in advance.. ...

Re: Tunic question

My tunic is a 5 button! Right now it's just a plain, no patches.

Re: Tunic question

I do know what that is. I think it will work but I may buy another one for Waffen SS and have one for Heer

Re: Tunic question

We'll the only reason I said it was not the right size was because of the sleeves. I thought it was too tight across my back. Then I realized that it's kinda like a suit and suppose to come up. Excuse me for not researching it further before posting.

Re: Tunic question

I saw something online about soaking it in water and massaging in hair conditioner and letting it sit a little while and then soaking it again. I don't think I'm gonna try it tho. Don't want to mess it up.

Re: Tunic question

It's the correct size. I was just curious as to if it would stretch at all. What about something to make the wool less abrasive?

Re: Tunic question

Does the wearing of the tunic stretch out any? It's a tad too tight and stiff.

Tunic question

I purchased a M43 Tunic a while back. Is there anyway I can stretch it a bit and possibly get the wool where it is somewhat bearable to wear? Thanks in advance!
