DG, use the black cufftitle with sutterlin script (the most common used) the green ones where not common and not popular either (something about...

Re: M40 sidecap for Heer?
Guys, thought I'd point something out, the M38 is the officers pattern sidecap, the standered other ranks sidecap is the M34,both are identicle exept for the material.I admit freely that I'm not sure where the M40 fits in as far as Heer issue (I always thought they were W-SS only). the only other sid...

Hansch, the tunic looks good, and the fit looks good, so overall I'm impressed, I've seen pirsens wool tunics,(some of the guys in my unit are getting them) and they are very good. Dieter

Re: Show us you!
Yeah mate, it was a bit hot. Cooler than last year though. Also a big deal for us this year was that we were allowed to wear runes. Usually, we can't at this show. Grink! It's a small(er) replica. Pretty cool though nonetheless. I wondered why you guys always wore pea dot all the time at reading, I...

Re: Show us you!
Yes it's a Stuka, yes it's a little small (approx 1/2 size more or less) but beutifully proportioned for its size, and it flies !!!. the weather was best described as typical, thursday sucked, lotta rain, friday sucked less, some rain, sat/sun warm but surprisingly low humidity so wearing wool tunics w...

Re: a 222 chassis (replica)
Ok,flipping the motor/trans around to the rear is easier than you think, but,it would have to be 4 wheel drive (like the original anyway) the key to the conversion is the transfer case (attached to the transmission) it can be "flopped" basicly reversed so the rear motor will spin the tires...

Re: What is Your Motivation to Re-enact?
I don't know about you boys and girls on the other side of the pond, but one of the most common answers to that qustion overhere is " well I got into models(The plastic ones, you swine!) and I always liked the German/American/British kit"etc, and it basicly went down hill from there( And y...

Re: Sappers WW1 GUN
That is INSANE    , recoil would be incredible and muzzle flash would be (even with the launcher cup attached ) exeptionlly bright (blowing your night vision to hell). I've fired short barreled, full power rifles and non of them are what I would consider to be pleasant shooters ...

Re: Filmpanzer IB
Very cool, that also explains a lot, I had always wondered how they filmed a lot of the combat scenes in propaganda films ( you had to have big brass ones to run around with a camera filming battles with little or no protection) this would make it a little safer ( safer being a relative term here) f...

Re: Krad bits and bobs
Very nice ride, if you can get away with it take signals off completely or make them removable for events (quick detach wiring & mounts). I personally recommend Mike allen (blitzbikes) as he has a lot of experience with Chinese beemers and his stuff is top notch,( not to mention he's a brit hims...
